Ingredients:
1/4 pound bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper
1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved and ends trimmed
1/2 cup chicken stock
Directions:
- Heat a saute pan over medium heat; add bacon and oil. Cook for 10 minutes until bacon begins to crisp.
- Add onion and garlic; season with salt and pepper
- Cook for 5 minutes; add the Brussels sprouts and chicken stock. Cover with a lid and cook 15 minutes.
